Hello! This article presents an open-source starter powered by Django & Tailwind on top of the Soft Dashboard design from Creative-Tim. The product comes with a simple codebase, Docker, and CI/CD support via Render, which makes the LIVE deployment much easier. For newcomers, this Tailwind Design is built with 10 sample pages and 70 frontend individual elements, like buttons, inputs, navbars, nav tabs, cards, or alerts, giving you the freedom of choosing and combining.

The project can be used in many ways and probably the easiest is to execute the Docker setup that starts the app using a single line:

$ docker-compose up --build

Make sure you're at the root of the project before running it. Once the execution is finished, we should be able to visit the app in the browser, create new users, and authenticate.

The deployment flow is managed by a simple configuration that informs the Render Deployment platform what environment is required by this starter and also the minimal required setup to be executed before going LIVE.
