Hello! This article presents an open-source dashboard crafted in Flask and Bootstrap 5 with a few basic modules and features like authentication, forms validation, and Docker support: Flask Volt. The product can be used in many ways from simple learning to bootstrap a production-ready project with speed. For newcomers, Flask is a popular lightweight web framework, and Docker is a virtualization software used to build and deliver software.

Probably the most easier way to start and use this free product is to download the sources from the product page and start the app in Docker.

Step #1 - Download and unzip sources

$ unzip flask-dashboard-volt.zip
$ cd flask-dashboard-volt
Flask Volt - Unzip Sources

Step #2 - Start in Docker 

$ docker-compose pull 
$ docker-compose build 
$ docker-compose up
Flask Volt - Started in Docker

Once all the above commands are executed, we can visit Flask Volt in the browser http://localhost:85 and interact with the UI.

Volt Bootstrap 5 - UI Description

Volt is a free and open-source Bootstrap 5 Admin Dashboard featuring over 100 components, 11 example pages, 3 plugins crafted using Vanilla JS by Themesberg.

100+ components - There are more than 100 free Bootstrap 5 components included some of them being buttons, alerts, modals, and datepickers.

Volt brings 11 example pages including an overview, sign in, sign up, transactions page and many more.
